Configure database settings in tomcat

Kaldin use database settings from 2 location as per following priority

  • PROJECT_HOME/META-INF/context.xml
  • USER_HOME_DIR/kaldin.properties

Initially Kaldin would try to connect to database by using context.xml settings.
If database is not accessible with context/xml settings, as a fallback, kaldin would
retrive database settings from USER_HOME_DIR/kaldin.properties and start.

  • It is recommended for advanced users to configure database in context.xml for high performance and faster page loading.

Kaldin use database settings from 2 location

HOME_DIR/kaldin/kaldin.properties
PROJECT_HOME/META-INF/context.xml

Kaldin application use context.xml if database settings not found  in HOME_DIR/kaldin/kaldin.properties
So You can change properties in these files to change database settings.
